My 2017 Subaru Outback 3.6R first had a dead battery issue last July. I replaced the battery and car ran fine for a month. Then battery is dead again and again replaced. Took it to a really good mechanic who told me I had a parasitic drain probably the electrical system and to go to a Subaru dealer for repair.

I'm a Subaru fanboy, but I also appreciate other brands, specifically Honda and Toyota. The thing with Subarus is they don't take skipping maintenance and super long intervals for fluids, way above and beyond what the manual recommends. Hondas and Toyotas you can basically beat the ever living shit out of them and they keep on going.
