434306008284 - Cv axle (left, right, front). Brakes, suspension, differential - Genuine Toyota Part Lastly as i stated in my response above, I used the Toyota OEM reman CV axle for my daughter's '99 4Runner Limited. Toyota uses the -84 extension on the part number to designate a reman axle.

I just completed my 30k maintenance service and created the attached maintenance chart to easier remember what to do when. It's based on Toyota's maintenance recommendations. Thought it may come in handy for someone else out there.

Why keep Toyota flanges on the Atlas if you're going GM on the drivetrain and one-ton underneath in the future? Easier in the short term while keeping Toyota axles? I was also wondering why you were going with the 4L60 when I read the thread title, but you covered that nicely. At least you're more reasonable than most and realize it'll blow.

Even IF Toyota brought back the FJ, they would never ever put back in the reliable gas hungry V6. It would most certainly be saddled with the current POS turbo four banger.

I've seen the (Natl) designation behind some FJ's and nobody I asked knew what it meant. Can somebody please explain the difference between the three designations? Thanks.:rocker:
2007 FJ Oil Pressure low and fluctuating - mechanic...
Royal Purple has oddly thick consistency, IMO. Also, OEM Toyota oil filters are much better at allowing flow vs other filters and the Toyota filters also rank low in filtration propreties vs aftermarket filters. I interpret this that Toyota priortirizes oil flow coating the internals quickly and places less priotiy on the oil being extremely clean.
