Increased maintenance expenses, additional mileage depreciation, tire wear, insurance, and other additional costs all have to be factored in, in addition to fuel costs. So if one uses the real cost of driving, Amtrak looks a lot more economical.

SuperClean is a degreaser. It does strip paint from plastic. I've not had issues with it eating the plastic. Advance Auto parts sells it by the gallon for around $20. There are other brands of degreasers, I do not know if they work as well or without side effects.

Good tape, Scotch 33+ or 88, you can back-roll the tape, off the provided roll. The smaller back-rolled tape, with the sticky exposed, works well for most applications. IMO, Mike CT. A quick pull, at the end of the tape job, or a cut, with a utility knife works.
