They carry more conventional high end brands and have quite a lot of lines, such as Magico, Raidho, Neat, Constellation, Audia, Aurender, and ClearAudio.

This has a great collection of folks with very high end systems and knowledge. It is actively moderated and is only for audiophiles... so there are no discussions of whether cables make a difference. Rudeness is also not tolerated at all.

This extreme High-End market, whose noble and honorable purpose at its beginnings was to offer music lovers the best possible reproduction quality, has turned into a mass market, comparable to the souks of Marrakech - which I personally love, but for a different purpose - where the highest discount has become the main focus.

Is DSP room correction worth it with a high end analog system?
This question was inspired by a YouTube from “2021 Capital Audio Fest: Jefferson Room”. Even though a lowly MP4, this is the best I have ever heard a drum solo! The speakers are the Arion Apollo system. I question going through an ADA conversion coming from my quite high end analog front end with a tube preamp.

Profit margins include expenses for rent, inventory, sales staff, shipping, power and heat, and of course the owners own time. Profit margins in audio are in the low single digits. If a dealer clears 5% that was a good year. Well moving $1M of high end audio that’s $50k profit, on top of the salary the guy paid himself as part of his expenses.

I live in the rare town that has a half dozen high end audio shops. Which means people like audio to support so many dealers in our mid-sized city. There’s variety in discounts and willingness among the dealers. One store really turned me off though. I had found the speakers I wanted—brand new—at 40% off on line.
